Over the past two years Laity Lodge has become a very special place to me. The cool waters and warm hospitality became a necessary part of my spiritual rhythm - I arrived empty and left full.

Shortly after we made the decision to move to New Zealand, I realized that my favorite writer Andi Ashworth would be facilitating a women's retreat two weeks before we were scheduled to move. I "circled the wagons" and gathered a handful of family and friends for, what turned out to be, one of my all time favorite weekends... it was a divine send off.
