On Sunday after church, the kids and I had lunch at a friends house on Lake Rotorua. Emma lives with a few folks in a cozy home with a fantastic view. There are chickens, bunnies, bees and lots of fruit and veggies to hunt for in the permaculture garden that crawls around the property.The kids had a great time, I managed to have some adult conversation and we brought home a 50 pound zucchini (perhaps a slight exaggeration). It was a good day.
