A few weeks ago I left my kids with a sitter and got on a neatly
decorated van headed to Auckland for my first official derby bout... good
times.
It was a bit of
moment in New Zealand roller derby history... in fact, it was a
national news worthy moment. Both Auckland and Wellington are now sanctioned to play for world ranking points - as official
WFTDA leagues.
I am glad to have been there... for so many reasons. Getting pretty excited for our first home bout.
