America with George * Austin to Houston * travel

For the next few weeks I am going to be using this space to communicate with my kids, 

please excuse the change of tone and content. George is Jude's stuffed dragon.

Another fun day of travel! The Fourth of July is right around the corner. I bought a few things for you kids... but as it turns out, airlines don't really like it when dragons pack explosive items in their luggage. I guess we will have to wait until Guy Fawkes Day.

It was nice to be on the road again...

We made a pit stop at Buc-ee's. I am not quite sure how I feel about Buc-ee's. It was kind of like a gas station theme park... fascinating and a little bit weird. I did get to try on a fighting Texas Aggie t-shirt... that was cool. We drove right by Aggieland - it would have been really fun to see where mom went to college - but we had to keep on keepin on.
