A few Sundays ago after church, Ben took the kids so that Beth and I could explore Mount Maunganui. It was a beautiful clear day and there was a fun multi-sport festival happening on the beach. We swam in the ocean, hiked to the top, sat by the water, prayed for our families and finished the day with some surprisingly delicious New Zealand Mexican food (somewhat of an anomaly). We have nine kids between us... so, it was kind of a special (quiet) day.
