This year we got to attend my Aunt Ellen's epic Fourth of July party. It was our first holiday without dad - we missed him. A while back, I wrote about this thirty-plus year tradition. You can find it here. A few years ago (when I was pregnant with Jonah) I hopped in the car with the kids and we made a surprise visit.
