Pohutu Geyser at Te Puia
The warm weather makes Christmas time in New Zealand all together different. I am thankful for open windows, blooming flowers, and fresh summer flavors.

Yesterday was Christmas Eve and Ben was off work. We went for a walk around one of our favorite lakes, came home for a rest and then went to visit Te Puia - a Māori arts, crafts and culture center in town.

We had shish kabobs, grilled naan, and Pavlova for dessert. It was a good day.
