Evening with new friends

After the sculpture walk one of Ben's work colleagues and his family picked me up for lunch and a very nice tour of the island. We had a glass of wine at their home and then then they dropped me off with our new friends.

It was a wonderful evening of conversation, accompanied by some of the freshest food I have eaten. Almost everything (including the wine and olive oil) was prepared from their gardens.

I am such a tremendous fan of hospitality. We have received a lot of it in New Zealand and it has made our time here rich.
